Metrowater is supplying water to the consumers through pipeline.  Water is also supplied to needy consumers by Tanker Lorries after collecting money in advance.  Such paid water supply through the Tankers are used by the consumers for special needs such as Marriages, religious functions and for other family functions.  For the convenience of consumers, Metrowater has proposed to simplify the procedure of paid mobile water supply.  Now onwards, the consumers can make a phone call to the nearest water filling point and avail tanker supply.  Payment can be made when the tanker reaches the consumer's place.

             Under this "Dial for water" system, the consumer has to make a phone call to the nearest water Filling Point or the Metrowater Area Offices for the quantity of water required by him/her.  Immediately, the water will be supplied to the consumers.  The charges for the water will be collected by the lorry driver in the form of cash or D.D. at the residence of the consumer at the time of delivery of water and receipt will be issued.  Then, the water will be delivered to the sump or tank of the consumer.  Consumers can avail this facility between 6.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m on all days.
